Arvada City Council held a special meeting April 28, 2026 to authorize a new ethics investigation and then conducted a workshop on solid waste and recycling where staff outlined fee changes, an extended producer responsibility application, billing upgrades and four composting options; council gave staff direction to implement the staff-recommended stepwise approach including a near-term drop-off pilot.
