Harford County Board of Education convened a hybrid business meeting on Aug. 12, 2024, where public commenters pressed the board about the recently debated AP African American studies course, the board approved updates to its dress code policy, accepted revisions to its public information (MPIA) policy, reviewed concepts for the new Hartford Academy/elementary school site, and received the FY2026 capital improvement program briefing.
