At its April 16, 2025 meeting, the DeSoto County School Board approved the agenda and a slate of routine business: construction and contract awards (Pleasant Hill Elementary project and related contract), substitute-staffing services, a marquee donation for Fernando Elementary, multiple personnel actions and two principal appointments; the board also recognized seniors, valedictorians and star students from district high schools.
