Steele County commissioners and the Steele County Park Board met March 2. The Park Board approved replacing the park walk‑in cooler and repairs; the commission discussed vaccine progress, voted to remove the countywide mask mandate (moving it to an advisory), approved several operational purchases and pilot programs, and began hiring steps for health and 911 positions.
