The House Committee on Agriculture & Food Systems held a joint hearing and decision-making session on Feb. 6 to consider a package of agriculture, pests and food-systems bills, including measures on soil‑health incentives, a pesticide restriction, invasive‑species research funding and a contentious feral‑chickens bill. Several measures were passed out of committee with amendments for further discussion.
