Highlands County School Board heard a student presentation from Park Elementary, announced a Florida Prepaid superintendent scholarship recipient, and addressed a board vacancy after member Miss Radonski said she would vacate her District 5 seat after learning her residence is no longer inside the district. The board also debated and adopted the 2026 summer school book as revised and approved multiple contracts on the consent agenda.
