Presenters for the Springfield 2051 initiative told the Springfield City Commission the community-driven planning effort has collected 1,572 survey responses, held more than 1,000 engagement-session attendees and produced seven strategic pillars to guide implementation; presenters emphasized the project is nongovernmental and will require broad ownership to implement.
