Committee of the Whole and Common Council met to review 2027 department budget priorities and a strategic-plan update; council approved a Pabst Farms Town Center overlay amendment for a Marcus entertainment/restaurant development, approved two fireworks shows at Dot Count Stadium, and voted to fill a District 2 vacancy by temporary appointment after rejecting a July special election. Staff also reported on a construction failure at the Lathem Street bridge that has delayed the project.
