At its April 7, 2026 meeting, the Henefer Town Council conditionally accepted a petition to annex Beenfield property and formed a subcommittee to negotiate a development agreement; the council also approved several motions including a business license and two purchases, heard a Summit County solid-waste presentation, discussed secondary water and an enforcement-officer ordinance, and received public comment on water-share and billing concerns.
