Blueprint Columbus staff told residents at a neighborhood kickoff that construction in the Newton Bedford project area will begin May 11, with permeable pavers on multiple streets, three regional rain garden basins, sump pump installs and later sanitary lateral lining. City staff described schedules, property impacts and maintenance responsibilities and said engineers would be available for one-on-one questions at an open house after the presentation.
