Weber County Planning Commission held a public hearing on a request to rezone roughly 20.36 acres at ~3655 W 1400 S from A-1 to R-115 (ZMA 2026-09), heard public comment about irrigation, roads and sewer, recommended conditions (including limiting the project to 59 lots, irrigation easement, sewer sizing and road/path improvements) and voted 5-1 to forward the recommendation to the County Commission. The commission also received conceptual briefings on a large mixed-use/PID proposal west of 7500 W, a proposed code change to allow indoor auto-parts recycling in the M-1 zone, and adjustments to the West Weaver Village form-based regulating plan.
