The Alliance City Council met Feb. 2, 2026. Council unanimously approved a series of measures including property transfers to support single‑family infill development, UDAG loan agreements, wastewater and traffic-signal contracts, and a weather-emergency pay resolution; council also discussed storm response, a proposed staffing restructure for Safety Service/Water functions, and a possible partnership with Refuge of Hope on homelessness services.
