The Missouri Senate convened to consider a large package of conference committee reports on appropriations (House Bills 2003–2013) and several policy bills including measures on artificial intelligence and protections for born-alive infants. Lawmakers debated a new higher-education funding directive, state IT modernization language, a proposed prison doula program and other targeted funding items before approving the conference reports by roll call.
