Mayor Ruby Kenzy Mumphrey of the Village of Lincoln Heights reviewed recent community initiatives, including a partnership with Habitat for Humanity to build seven houses and a Rock the Block event that helped 27 homeowners with more than 400 volunteers. She highlighted grant partnerships for street and school-safety improvements and noted residents can now pay trash collection via their water bill as she heads into the final two years of her term.
