Washoe County Community Homeless Advisory Board heard an extended public-comment session focused on the CARES campus and a proposal from Education Crusade to transfer the campus to a church coalition; the board agreed to explore adding people with lived experience to the CHAB and received reports on supportive housing planning, new permanent supportive housing projects, and street-based health services.
