Kissimmee City Commission met April 7, 2026. Commissioners voted 3–2 to retain existing downtown form-based code restrictions on Broadway, tabled a proposed commercial-vehicle code change pending a workshop and directed staff not to enforce that section until it is updated, approved an amendment to the firefighters retirement plan, and adopted the FY2026–27 annual fire service assessment. Public commenters raised concerns about food trucks, traffic safety and made allegations about the mayor’s conduct.
