At its April 20, 2018 regular session, the Weatherford City Council approved two plats and heard extended public comment opposing a proposed bypass route and roundabout that residents say would damage historic homes and Cherry Park; the mayor also issued a proclamation designating April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
