At its May 12, 2026 regular meeting, the Upson County Board of Commissioners approved a 60-day moratorium on appeals from the planning director while the county rewrites its zoning appeals process; the board also approved consent-agenda items, added roads to the 2025 resurfacing list (including a portion of Heather Drive), and authorized a consultant to assist with a county building roof project.
