At its May 11, 2026 meeting, the Long View School Board approved a new health-related student policy, heard a detailed presentation and rollout plan for a district strategic plan to run 2026–2033, received a budget-development update including state cuts affecting transition-to-kindergarten slots, and heard multiple public comments alleging mishandling of sexual-misconduct reports at Mark Morris High School.
