At its May 11, 2026 meeting, the Franklin Historic Zoning Commission approved a series of routine alterations (signage, ramps, mechanical screening, window and lift replacements), resolved a mix of porch-rail requests (denying rails between arches, approving balustrade and step handrail with conditions) and approved demolition at 1309 Adams Street contingent on approval of reconstruction plans.
