Chair opened the May meeting and called for approval of the minutes from 04/08/2026. Commissioner Norris (speaker 4) moved to approve; another member seconded. Several commissioners voted aye and Commissioner John (speaker 6) announced an abstention. The motion carried and the commission moved on.
At its May meeting, the Connecticut Real Estate Appraisal Commission reviewed and approved minutes, debated continuing-education credit for a multi-day conference and approved courses (with an amended, reduced hours recommendation), heard a legal briefing from the department's legal program director about settlement (ABC) finality, hardship-waiver regulations and the commission's investigatory role, and received staff updates on renewals and an ongoing CE audit.
