Willmar City Council met to approve routine consent items and several capital contracts, heard presentations on infrastructure projects including the Blue Line Arena roof and Iverson Park lift station, and held a lengthy debate and approvals related to the Wilmar Connect broadband project. Council also accepted the retirement notice of City Administrator Leslie Valiant and formed an ad hoc transition committee.
