The Putnam County School Board opened with recognitions for student athletes, teachers and program awardees and then moved to routine business. During board reports members raised a detailed finance concern about commissions the county tax collector retained on school bond issuances; the board unanimously directed the superintendent and board attorney to investigate and report back.
