Spokane City Council held a legislative session that included final-reading action on a planned-unit-development ordinance, multiple mid-biennial budget amendments to accept state grants (all passed as emergency amendments), adoption of a preferred alternative map for the Plan Spokane 2046 update (passed 6-1), approval of outside counsel contracts, and an open forum with residents raising traffic, literacy, jail-conditions and park/nature concerns.
