Clay County commissioners learned that a state recalculation cut the county's 2026 child protection allocation by $91,379 and approved several grants, out-of-state travel requests, a psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) grant agreement and participation in a regional private-well testing grant application; the meeting also included committee reports and introduction of a new facility dog.
