Planners from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and town staff presented Essex's draft Open Space and Recreation Plan, reviewed survey findings (about 400 usable responses), and sought public feedback on five draft goals covering conservation, recreation, education, governance, and inventory updates. Presenters said the plan will be posted for comment and is expected to be submitted to the state by the end of June.
