Algood City Council considered revisions to personnel appointment procedures and a proposed $7,500 across-the-board raise for full-time employees; both ordinances failed for lack of majority. The council approved purchases of unmarked police vehicles, surplus and replacement equipment, and transfers of funds to higher-interest accounts. Public works and fire reports and a citizen traffic complaint were heard.
