The newly constituted Education Service Center board met to introduce two new members, review Director Steve Canavero’s update on start-up funding and staffing, discuss a proposed vision and mission (favoring a short, student-centered vision and a targeted, evidence-based ‘support’ mission), and hear findings from a Public Works report proposing elimination/modification/consolidation of about 89 district reports to reduce reporting burden.
