At its May 21, 2026 regular Board of Aldermen meeting, the City of Prairie Home adopted an ordinance establishing a 26,000-pound weight limit on city streets and approved two seasonal resolutions permitting open containers during the fair and authorizing July 4 fireworks; the board also reviewed water and sewer reports, discussed sidewalk and road concerns, reviewed the FY27 preliminary budget, and declined two bids for dirt and rock work.
