Oakdale City Council met to hear several public hearings and staff presentations, including increases to multiple landscaping-and-lighting assessments, introduction and continued debate on a sidewalk maintenance ordinance, adoption of smoke-shop regulations capping retail licenses, and several capital projects, grants, and personnel items. Council approved most consent and action items and continued the sidewalk ordinance to Aug. 17 for rewording.
