Collin County Commissioners Court held an extended budget workshop focused on sheriff's office staffing and facility expansion, inmate food and medical costs, overtime exposure and other departmental position requests. The court approved an overtime policy, added funding lines for inmate services, and approved 41 additional detention officers while leaving some agency requests for later review.
