The South Ogden Planning Commission on June 12 opened a public hearing and unanimously recommended a city code amendment to allow golf-safety nets (with a 30-foot default height and staff exception process) and to add limited rules for backyard sports courts; the commission also approved procedural changes allowing the chair to vote, discussed a housing research paper and active-transportation plan, and set an October revisit for short-term rentals.
