The township planner told trustees on July 6 that Bath Township is preparing a new comprehensive plan—required by Michigan statute for communities that participate in zoning—and that staff secured grant funding (MSHDA) to support the effort. “We had a decent turnout” at a June 23 open house, the planner said, and staff have collected feedback to incorporate into edits before issuing a 65‑day notice to adjacent jurisdictions and the public.
