Commissioners adopt Washington County Emergency Operations Plan
County staff presented an Emergency Operations Plan completed after nearly three years; the board voted to adopt the plan and authorized two printed signatures for county and office copies.

Missus Demkowski told the commissioners she submitted the Emergency Operations Plan on July 28 and asked the board to adopt it; she said the county council had already adopted its version. "I went to council last night, and they also adopted it. So I need you to make a motion to adopt the plan, and I need your signature on these 2 sheets of paper only," Demkowski said.
