Manager reports utility authority talks, Wilson Center cleanup, water main progress, and early voting stats

City Manager Todd J. Campbell updated commissioners on a City/Bingham Township Utility Authority work group, Wilson Center cleanup and historic-tax-credit work, Business 27 water main progress (about 1,700 feet installed; ~2,500 feet remaining), and election absentee/early-voting numbers (1,151 absentee ballots issued, 493 returned).

City Manager Todd J. Campbell provided multiple operational updates during the July 27 meeting. He said a City/Bingham Township Utility Authority joint work group met July 13 and a follow-up public joint work meeting is set for Aug. 17 to review draft Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws; MML will reassess water and wastewater infrastructure values for the authority work. Campbell reported Wilson Center cleanup steps, coordination with Dymaxion and Studio Intrigue on historic-tax-credit window revisions, and that Smith’s Landscaping is doing cleanup work.
