Campbell said the project includes funds for converting downtown buildings to apartments (approximately $580,000 allocated for Bruno’s, Alibi, and Ethan Painter's buildings) and a homeowner rehab pool (initially $200,000 increased to $233,000) with a $25,000 cap per home. Campbell said the total award figure listed in a recent MSHDA correction was $951,219, which includes administrative costs; the maximum administrative fee is 17% (about $138,210). Project completion must occur within 24 months if funded.
