Douglas County staff told the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Sept. 2 that the county has secured approximately 90% of the funding needed to replace the Minnesuing Creek Bridge on County Highway P. The county issued requests for proposals for design services to three consulting firms; proposals are due Oct. 1, 2026. The goal presented in committee materials is to complete design work in 2027 and proceed with construction in spring 2028.
