Audubon County Engineer Mitch Rydl told the Board of Supervisors on Sept. 8 that work on the LE-8 bridge replacement between Jay and Kingbird Avenues was at the point of final payment. On a motion by Don Mosinski, seconded by Chairman Kent Grabill, the board approved the final payment to GUS Construction Co. Inc.; the minutes record the vote as "all in favor."
