Township: Valley View Drive improvements to start this fall; new railroad crossing planned

Sand Creek Township representatives told the Scott County Planning Advisory Commission that the Valley View Drive improvement project is moving forward after bids opened this month and came in below the engineer's estimate. The township representative said the work will happen in two phases, with the first phase (grading, ditching and shaping) scheduled to begin this fall and a first lift of pavement expected this season.
