City planning staff updated the Common Council on the status of the former Erwin School (428 N. Superior St.) and the development options reviewed since the original 2018 agreement. Dan said the city has pursued multiple developers and nonprofit attempts to save and renovate the building but that each proposal has ultimately proved infeasible.
