Councilor Zimmerman introduced a pre-gavel proclamation honoring Lincoln High School's 2025 constitution team for winning both the Oregon state title and the national "We the People" competition in Washington, D.C. The council noted that an initial scoring miscount had temporarily placed another team first before the results were corrected and Lincoln was recognized as the national champion.
