Wendy’s Cookbook Club approved for one‑time alcohol service Sept. 25

Emma Bohm, owner of Wendy’s at 82 High Street, appeared before the licensing board to request a Class F‑1 license for a Cookbook Club event scheduled Sept. 25. Bohm said the event gathers people to prepare dishes from the same cookbook, that the cookbook’s author will attend, and that a bartender will serve cocktails and wine as a component of the evening. She estimated typical attendance for previous gatherings at 10–15 people and expected this event to draw roughly 20–25 attendees.
