Lauren, Leelanau Countyinterim county administrator, told commissioners she will "maintain an environment of openness and communication and financial transparency by ensuring up to date, clear financial data that is easily accessible on the county's website." She outlined commitments to regular updates and managerial oversight and publicly asked the board to begin negotiating an employment contract to codify her role and provide stability.
