The Common Council voted on Sept. 1 on Mayor Rick Rossi’s appointment of Samantha Frederick to the Planning Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals to fill a vacancy created by Andrea Hitchings’ resignation. The motion failed on a 3-3 vote: Councilors Pagano, Simchik and Rossi voted yes; Councilors McHugh, Smith and Jones voted no; Councilor Dave Cimpi was absent.
