The Jones County Board of Adjustment on Aug. 18 tabled a special-use permit application from Rogers Rock & Sand Inc., with River City Paving/Mathy Construction as applicant, to establish a temporary asphalt plant on parcel 94-14 in Fairview Township. The hearing opened at 4:05 p.m.; after public comment and board questions, a motion by Sarah Tate, seconded by Kathy McDonell, to table the application passed unanimously.
