The library board reported it voted to sign a memorandum of understanding with Nicolay Library and Wow Works workforce development board to incorporate a job-pod system at the West Bend Library to help job seekers connect with services and employers. The report said start-up fees were nominal and a $3,000 one-time fee was waived due to grant funding from the Department of Workforce Development, and staff training could happen on Sept. 21 with a rollout as early as November.
