The Board reviewed gatehouse renovation permitting and bid-preparation steps; draft bid documents were sent to counsel and staff will advertise for sealed bids after counsel review. Metal gates at the US‑41 main gate will be replaced and paver replacement is included in the scope.

Charlie Krebs told the Board the application for Pelican Sound gatehouse renovations was submitted to the Village of Estero and that Bowman Incorporated issued the required checks; draft bid document language was sent to District Counsel and, once counsel approves, the District Manager will prepare a public advertisement seeking sealed bids.
