The Barrow County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a rezoning and special‑use permit for a 345.04‑acre project called “Cypress,” a mixed‑use master plan the applicant said will include destination retail, vertically integrated mixed‑use village buildings and market‑rate multifamily. Planning staff recommended approval; the board adopted proffered conditions dated 09/03/2026 with a correction to a percentage in the proffers and a deletion in a staff condition.
