Jackson County received an update on proposed fairgrounds improvements at the Sept. 1 meeting. County staff reported a final engineer's estimate of $460,590.00 for a proposed lift-station at the fairgrounds; commissioners noted that funding for the project had not yet been identified and that no request for proposals had been issued.
