Following the resignation of Jackson County's 911 director, commissioners on Sept. 1 approved a formal job description outlining the position summary, essential duties and recommended qualifications. Commissioner Drew Storey moved to approve the job description; Commissioner Andrew Stauffer seconded the motion and it carried 3-0.
